Real girls train with dudes who lift heavy sh*t and hit pinatas with chicks

So tonight was my first "Thursday night training session" at the new place and with the new Thursday night crew.  People, what the hell have I gotten myself into?

It's pretty much private training which is awesome except that Brian is in charge.  Brian who takes pleasure in my whining and has absolutely no sympathy for me.  His saving grace is that I like the way he thinks about lots of thing and he has awesome taste in music.  Like awesome. And he is the one that always notices hair changes in me; kind of scary because half the time Aquaman doesn't even notice.  That will win him points as a husband; way to go Bri!  In fact tonight when Mr. Shirtless (who actually did have a shirt) walks in the first thing Brian comments on is the new haircut.  I think I spit out my water and dropped a weight I was so shocked.  Nice do dude!

So my partner in crime (actually I have one more but she was on vacation; hate her) is the only client ever to appear shirtless on Eric's website.  Someone who orders grass fed meat and travels with a kettle ball.  And dare I say it, is more musically obsessed than me.  Let me just say this; the three of us agreed to rotate dj duties on Thursdays and I am so psyched to finally train to some good music.

I'm not sure why but Ahole Care Bear is the one who wrote my program for tonight.  Six sets of bench presses.  Six.  The return of the glute ham raises.  Reverse db lunges into an RDL.  Some overhead thing.  Some plank thing.  And then, then my favorite; Brian adds the BSP death circuit.  Oh joy.  I just keep frowning.  Now it was totally different than the TGDC due to space.  But OMG, my arms were shaking at the end.  I did burpees, pushups blast straps,  forward lunges, reverse lunges, body weight squats, some thing with the bar.

I left 90 minutes later.  This death circuit thing is seriously taking a freakin long time to complete.  But as much as I'm complaining, training with those two is a huge motivator.  Brian was lifting crazy weight; like in the high four hundreds.  The other one; in a league of his own.  I've said this multiple times before; train with people who are going to push you.  And the fact that they have incredible taste in music and are funny is just icing on the cake.

Tomorrow night is the first annual V club fiesta.  All the CP chicks are going out for some margaritas and mexican and of course to destory the Tony pinata.

I think I kind of look like the blindfolded chick with the stick except with shorter hair.  And Michelle kind of looks like the chick in the red dress.  I wonder she's thinking?

I leave you now with KOL.  I am kicking myself for not going to their concert the night before the marathon.  I have been blasting this band on the way to work every morning.  Rolling Stone put them on the cover this week.  I heart all four of them.  Like, I really heart all four of them.  Sigh.  Drool.
